This friction-stir-welded water-cooling plate uses AL6063 as its base material. Longitudinal channels are formed in the base material through deep-hole drilling, and these channels are then milled through at both ends at transverse intervals. The channels are tightly joined using friction-stir welding. This technology has been successfully applied to water-cooling plates for high-power fiber-optic equipment, where it offers higher compressive strength and thinner profiles. It significantly improves the heat dissipation performance of the liquid-cooling plates and can meet the heat dissipation requirements of various heat sources.
